The service here is very very very good. Good workmanship, attentive. From Umphang, driving slowly because the rear brake broke, the brake fluid leaked..the brakes didn't work..had to keep refilling the brake fluid... Going down the mountain, look for a car repair shop on the side of the road to have them seal the rear brake fluid pipe first because they didn't have the equipment ready. Use only the front set to get some speed. Slowly come down from Mae Sot to Tak, keep your distance until almost reaching the Tak-Mae Sot intersection. Saw a lot of ten-wheel trucks parked. It was a big garage that works on ten-wheel trucks called Highway Truck And Service, so stopped in to see if they could fix a small car. Met a kind big mechanic who took care of everything. Sat and waited in the air-conditioned room very well. I highly recommend it. If anyone has a problem with their car, try stopping by to use the service. It's at the Tak intersection, turn left to Mae Sot, next to the PTT gas station.

I personally have never used the service, but I pass by almost every day. I like that the place is very spacious, close to a gas station, and there is a restaurant nearby.
