I live in Scotland. It’s cold and wet, a lot but we do also get some dry days and maybe about a week of hot sunny weather a year. I had been trying to buy the all season variant of this tyre but it didn’t appear to be available so I took a chance on the Pilot Sport 5 and 8000 miles in, they haven’t missed a beat. There’s caverns of tread depth left in them. Lots of wet grip in the corners, no problem with rivers of water across a motorway carriageway, more grip than I’ll ever need in the dry. Don’t know yet about using them for the short spells of snow and ice but I’m quietly hopeful.

Excellent would definitely recommend

The only condition they've struggled in is snow but they're summer tyres so I wasn't expecting them to perform. Even down to fairly cold temperatures they still work well on a wet or dry road. They will push into understeer in temperatures below around 5°C but are still controllable. In the dry on a warm day they're unbelievable. They handle standing water well and brake brilliantly in the wet.

Very good, very grippy especially in the wet for my 230bhp car

Happy with the performance although they is a bit more road noise

Absolutely perfect, I’d never use any other tyres

Noisier than I thought they would be

great in the summer, however unlike some other sportier tyres they're still pretty good during the winter too.

Great performance everyday whatever the weather!

They lose air in cold weather. Puncture easy and leak on the rims
