They’ve been pretty decent over winter. However, I will always believe that winter tyres and summer tyres should be changed. My bank account doesn’t.

Very expensive and only last 20k miles ,very disappointed

Good tyre, not as grippy as a super sport but much better in the rain.

A noticeable difference in performance in the wet going round corners or roundabouts, really good grip.

Better than OEM Best tyre out there

They perform well when it is dry and very well when it is wet.

Having experience of both Michelin PS4 and SuperSport on my Gen 1 Cayman S (3-4 track days a year, mainly Goodwood, and spirited B road touring), I am definitely impressed with the new PS5....PS4S they are not , but highly capable in managing a range of road conditions with aplomb, whilst doubling up to do a respectable job on track as well.

Having driven on Michelin Pilot Sport 3 for years, I found myself needing to make a different choice given these have been discontinued and according to some of the reviews I read, the Pilot Sport 5 were very similar. Whilst these are similar from a wet surface perspective, where you will drive through water and not feel a huge impact on the car, these tyres do feel a lot different to the PS3s I so loved. The road feedback, although still quite good, doesn't feel as sporty as the 3. These are a bit more comfortable, which for many could be a plus, for me, I enjoy the road feedback and knowing that I can take a sharp bend at speed with confidence. Overall, I am not dissatisfied but wonder if I would go for these again in the future. Have also felt the steering a lot different since changing to these tyres, balancing has been an issue which has been corrected a couple of times. Despite that it still feels odd with no obvious reason. Will have to probably drive a bit more on these to eventually fall out of love with the PS3 and start to love the 5s. Safety wise thou, I do feel safe with the grip these offer and definitely the performance on wet is very good.

very good overall in wet and dry
