Better wet weather performance that previous Michelin tyres. Excellent dry grip and low road noise.

They’re not great on snow or ice but that’s obvious. However, they grip like nothing else on tarmac

Had Dunlop sportmaxx on before these tyres and they were terrible in any condition that wasn’t dry, the pilot sport 5’s are 10 times better. They are more expensive but so worth it. The grip is far and above the previous dunlops. I guess you get what you pay for.

Excellent, very happy

As expected, just about perfect.

Decent tyres, not as sticky as pilot spot 4's but seem better in the cold, yet to see how long they last

I was hoping for a marked improvement over the original Pirelli fit which were already good. So far I like these tyres but I do not notice any big improvement over the originals. Of course they are brand new , so grip etc is much better especially as the tyres they replaced were well worn. Steering is sharp, braking excellent and wet/cold weather performance very good. My only slight concern is the lack of alloy protection from kerbing. The Pirelli tyres offer excellent protection, the Michelins minimal. Overall, after 2k miles, very pleased with the Michelins. Better than the Pirellis? Not noticeable for me.

Very impressed with the PS5, very grippy, quiet, comfortable, reasonably priced and the extended tread life over the previous model make this tyre an excellent choice for spirited drivers.

Much better than the premium ditch finders fitted to the car previously (Pirelli P-Zero's)

The original fitment Bridgestone Potenzas were getting low on the front, resulting in wheel spin in the wet on hard acceleration. However this would also happen in the dry, making me suspect that the compound may have started to harden, as they are approaching 5 years old. So decided to replace all 4 with Pilot Sport 5’s, which for Michelin’s, were competitively priced. No more lose of traction issues. Car feels more planted now. Only criticism is tread doesn’t seem quite as deep from new as some others.
