Pilot Sport 5 TYRE REVIEW

They offer great grip in the dry and wet, and the wear rate is excellent. They do go hard in winter which affects ride quality, but it is a summer tyre after all. My only criticism is that it is really dull in the handling department. Offers no real bite on turn in and is all just a bit too neutral, with no feed back.

Fantastic tyre. Exceptional performance in the dry and very good in the wet and they have the best looking tyre wall of any tyre out there ;-)

Right decision

Just purchased 4 Michelin PS5,s and immediately noticed after driving off the extra comfort and responsiveness of these top quality tyres, this is the first time I've used the Michelin brand, can't see me going back to an alternative brand , highly recommend.

I put these on to replace the original Bridgestone tyres that came new with my BMW330e. The Michelins transformed the car. The original Bridgestones were very twitchy in anything but perfectly dry conditions and I had experienced a couple of tail breakaways when accelerating out of corners or off roundabout. The Michelins are much more sure footed in all weathers.

Unsure if they have the outright dry grip of the PS 4’s they replaced but so far so good. Wet grip and confidence is very good though they aren’t the quietist tyres but not overly loud I guess
