Pilot Sport 5 TYRE REVIEW

Overall a great tyre. I don't often drive fast in bad weather conditions so I can't claim any benefit over another brand as I've not test it's limits. However in the dry these are by far the best street tyre by quite a margin. Slightly louder then less grippy tires but marginally.

Brought the car with some horrible cheap Tyres, putting Pilot sports on was done within a week and they are always a great tyre

Very good tyres, lots of grip in all weather!

I don’t quite think the tyres are for EV vehicle. Although it said when I got them EV ready. Compared to Hancook tyres it provides limited rim protection. But what is defiantly noticeable is that the range decreased quite a bit once I started driving. I don’t think it would be noticeable as they rated C against B of the original tyres but it is noticeable quite a bit. I feel like I lost about 10% of typical range.

I only use them on track and hill climbs (and getting to/from events). They are doing well, felt bad for the first 50 miles in torrents of rain then bedded in and gave great confidence. Nearly as good as Avon zzs (no longer available).

I felt Michelin provided a quantifiable upgrade over the originally fitted Continental tyres.

Satisfactory good tyres

Excellent performance in all weather conditions though not driven in extreme winter weather. An air pressure loss (10% down) over a month affected two of the four Michelin tyres might be valve related.
