Great so far in all conditions

Handling feels sharper than on the previous Pilot Sport 4.

Excellent grip in all conditions, much less likely to break traction than my previous tyres

Have had problems with one of the new tyres losing pressure since fitting, had them looked at twice already and still having problems.

Very slippery and lack of traction in the wet and dry

2 years, 10K miles
Just recently marks 2 years and over 10,000 miles done with the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres on my slightly modified 2017 Focus ST 3 petrol. I don't have too much to say about these tyres because they have just been absolutely great. Surprisingly last winter I felt safer and more grip driving the hot hatch with PS5's than my diesel car fitted with all season tyres from a random name brand. In all honesty, the front tyres handle the power very well, I never have an issue with grip and even in the wet when not going too hard isn't an issue. I haven't yet swapped the wheels front to back, but they still look brand new and have a lot of life left. I live up in north Scotland where the roads can be rough and driving conditions harsh sometimes so I think it goes to show how good quality these tyres are. The car came with PS3's fitted from factory, afterwards had a set of budgets on the front for some time before I decided Michelin's were the only ones to go for. What a great decision it was.

Replaced budget tyres that were awful in the wet. Transformed the levels of grip and feel in the wet and dry as expected.

Exceptional wet weather performance
I purchased the Audi S6 new in 2016 and this is the 4th set of tyres experienced on this car. It was supplied with OEM Continentals, I then fitted Dunlop RT2's in the search for better aquaplaned resistance. The RT2's were good in the wet but lacked feedback and were noisy at M'way speeds. I then fitted Pirelli PZ4's which were quite simply awful in the wet despite having been raved about in a motor magazine review. They destroyed my confidence in the car. I fitted the Michelin PS5's 4,000 Mike's ago and they are fantastic - quiet running, handle potholes well and are brilliant in the wet both in terms of general handling and aquaplane resistance. Encountering standing water at 70mph they just cut through it with no squirming or heart stopping moments like the PZ4. I won't hesitate to purchase again when this set need replacement

They are excellent t, much more responsive and don’t slide around as much when driving a bit closer to the cars limit

My tyres performance are outstanding. I have complete confidence in them, both in the dry and wet. I wouldn't choose another brand now.. and I wouldn't choose any other tyre than a pilot sport 5 for my car, unless they made a newer upgraded version
