Not great wet weather grip
I have a new BMW R1300 GS and these tyres came standard with the bike and i was concerned when i saw them and the reviews seemed very positive. I have been riding for over 20 years and a few days ago i was on the M25 motorway doing motorway speeds and changed lanes around a motorway bend and the back of bike just started to squirl !! I accept it could have hit a white line or a cats eye, but so could the thousands of other lane changes i have performed over the years! I have lost confidence and don't want to wait for the next episode and they are being changed to a Road 6 which inspires confidence in all conditions. After saying all the above, if you are planning to do some off roading which i am not, then as a compromise tyre these should be fine and it just needs a bit of caution on the tarmac, as they are not a dedicated road tyre. I have only covered 400 miles on these tyres in wet and windy England

Amazing Longevity
I ride 1000 kilometers a week and I need longevity and grip, the Michelin Anakee Adventure surprised me for the longevity and the good grip. Right now I did 15K and the tires have still 4 millimeters tread to spend. Excellent!!!

Outstanding
I use my BMW GSA 1250R motorcycle commercially all year round as professional and volunteer medic and travel both on and off road (rough tracks) I’ve found the grip both in the wet and dry fantastic especially when cornering heavy fully laden with medical kit (not very effective in heavy mud though). The rear tyre lasts around -12K miles to the legal minimum depth the front around 16K The only negative, slightly noisy on corners when leaning over when new. It doesn’t get much better, this is the goldilocks tyre given the above. I cannot recommend these enough…

Confidence
I have had my Triumph Tiger 800 XRT now for 2 years, after coming from touring bikes, I am not the most confident in wet riding but these tyres are fantastic, great water displacement, and grip where needed. There is no road noise or vibration which I thought you would get from a tyre with this profile. I have done more road riding than off road, but the little off road I have done, I have to say I am impressed. I will be looking at a new set shortly, and would highly recommend these.

Good on and off road
These came as standard fitment on my Gs 1250 adventure, I have just rode two up 1500 miles across Europe in rain and 46c temperatures over 3 days on tarmac and unpaved mountain trails. These tyres performed effortlessly they are a little noisy but nothing compared with the noise from Karoo 3 they drove me insane. I would recommend.

Best tires so far
I have 31000 km on the front on a R1200 GS... Back went "only" 18000 km and then I changed it ... now I'm preparing for a new set of both, they are amazing. I do not ride aggressively so I think it's a best bang for my bucks.

surprisingly very good
sticky straight out of the box. I've managed 9000 miles and they now need replacing but its a full year or more riding. it would have been 5 stars but for the one thing that lets them down. really noisy from the front end at speed.

Best all round tyre - dont be put off
Noisy on road but you wear ear plugs obviously - tearing up motorways and fast A roads no problem - big lean angles and hard corner exits ditto - late braking and poor roads surfaces is a breeze - impossible a few years ago - mud and wet grass - no no no - gravel and hard tracks ok - there's no suck thing as a do it all tyre - these do very well and embarrass full roads - cope with the gravelly stuff and a great choice for big cc adventure bikes

As a road tyre not great
If you ride mainly on the road forget this tyre. There is a lot of vibration and poor grip in the dry. Fit a pilot road instead.

Great multipurpose tyre
On my enduro-style bike. Give great road grip in wet and dry and can handle light off-road surfaces as well. Getting another set for my street scrambler project!
