Great Tyre for the z1000sx
I had these PR5s on my last z1000sx 2018 model and they did over 13,000 Road mile on them, this included me traveling to work each day with my panniers on, then weekend riding with the MCR Bikerz without the panniers on as this was my relaxing time and fun. Never in the time they were on my bike did they ever make me feel unsafe, that included dry or rain even cold weather. They are an absolute all round tyre.
Best tires ever had!
I run Michelin on my bike and car. On the bike, I ride through wet just as enthusiastic as in dry conditions with Road 5 2CT. While I did not notice a difference between other brands and Michelin for the summer tires (I do not push them to the limit), I was very surprised the amount of grip Pilot Alpin has and that made me very confident. I hope they keep this combo and I will stick with them for life!
