Great handling tyres, wet or dry
I have used road 4s, 5s and 6s across a variety of BMW GSs. I love these tyres on road. They are particularly good in the wet. (I use a different tyre for off-road) My only issue is that the carcass is a bit light and this makes these tyres prone to puncturing.
The sports touring tyre.
Back for another pair. Quick warm up on cold days. Very good freed back through the bars and seat. Inspires confidantes in all condition on the road. Over 10k miles out of the rear and still not down to the wear bars.
Night and day difference from my previous tire
I can feel the road so precisely its amazing just how great the feel and in the wet well even better
Excellent all round tyre
Fitted a pair of Road 6's in August, now they have 4700 miles on them and am very impressed. They excell in all areas, but are especially good in the wet. They seem to be ideally suited to my 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro, offering a far better ride than the OEM fitted tyres. Can't yet comment on their longivity, but after 4700 miles they are not yet showing much wear, I have therefore put 5/5 in the rating, but I cn't be sure.. I highly recommend them, they are certainly a step ahead of their competitors. A great all round tyres, I'm very happy with them.
Excellent tyres
I have had Pirelli Angel st tyres on my Triumph Tiger 1050 sport when I purchased it in 2015 which were awful and did nothing for the handling in the wet and dry. I fitted a set of pilot road 4`s which transformed the ride and subsequently had two sets of Pilot Road 5`s which were equqlly as good over the 20,000 miles I`ve covered. having just purchased aanother later Tiger 1050 sport with under 1000 miles I immediatley swapped the tyres for the latest Michelin Road 6 tyres which having covered around 500 miles so far they appear better than their predecessors. Fantastic tyres!
Best tyre available
I've tried most of the other brands and was disappointed with elements of each. I tried road 5's first and have never left the Michelin "road" series since. They are super grippy, hard wearing and fantastic in the wet. I've never had one "let go". The tyre never disappoints and I heartily recommend them.
Improved yet again
Well done Michelin. Back on track with excellent progress on the 6s. Superb performance in all departments and lasting longer too. I have had both GT and non GT on this bike, prefer non GT. feels a bit more comfortable and gives more feedback.
My go to choice for touring on our GSA 1250
Great tyres, wet or dry, always predictable and unexpected longevity for a high performance tyre carrying large loads , highly recommended.
Great handling tyres
Note, this is my 2nd set of these. Other than losing traction at a slow speed & nearly coming off, they have been fine but expected a little more mileage out of the rear tyre.
Outstanding
I’ve used all of Michelin’s Road series and every iteration is an improvement on the previous. Great in the wet and outstanding in the dry. It’s my go to rubber!
