Thailand is full of opportunities to put your vehicle to the test and enjoy the ride. At Michelin, we know that great cars need great tyres, which is why our authorised dealers are stocked full of our latest products. Whether you’re cruising through city streets, driving your SUV off-road, taking your sports car out for a spin or riding your motorcycle or scooter, there’s something for everyone at our authorised tyre shops.
If you’re unsure which model is best for your vehicle, one of our friendly dealers will be happy to walk you through the different tyres and how each would affect your ride. Before buying, here are a few things to consider, which will make the selection process easier.
Factors to consider when purchasing wheels and tyres is the type of weather your vehicle will come up against. While many regions in Thailand experience weather that is hot and dry, there are rainy and cold days as well, where the roads can become slick. Remember that streets have the least amount of friction when they’re wet so your chances of skidding are higher.
Another item affecting your buying choice is the terrain you’re driving on. Road driving in good weather doesn’t require the same depth of tread or ruggedness that an all-terrain or off-road tyre offers. Driving on the right tyre for your terrain will reduce noise, provide a more even wear on tread, and keep you from slipping or getting stuck. Speak to one of our dealers to find out more.
Your local dealer would be happy to help you find the best tire for your needs and give you advice.
