A car tyre line with 45% sustainable materials⁽⁷⁾
In October 2022, we presented a car tyre line containing 45% sustainable materials, approved for road use.
The tyre has performance levels equivalent to current tyres(8). We are well on our way to meet the interim goal of 40% of bio-sourced or recycled materials(9) across all tyre lines by 2030 towards 100% by 2050.

VISION concept, a tyre made from 100% sustainable materials
Unveiled in 2017, the VISION concept comprises both a wheel and an airless tyre.
Biosourced, connected and featuring a renewable tread, VISION concept offers a compelling illustration of how our sustainable development model will transform tyres between now and 2050, and achieve the objective of tyres to be made of 100% bio-sourced or recycled materials by 2050.
In 2050, our tyres will be 100% sustainable
A tyre made of more than 50% biosourced and recycled materials
We developed a racing tyre which already contains 53% biosourced and recycled raw materials. It is fitted on the GreenGT H24 hydrogen-powered prototype, a car developed for endurance racing as well as on the Porsche GT4 ePerformance. This very high-performance tyre demonstrates that the disruptive technologies can still perform in extreme racing conditions.
Sustainable tyres already on track!
We developed the WorldCup MotoE tyres integrating, for the 2022 season, an average of 40% recycled and bio-sourced materials(11) while offering high levels of performance. These tyres equipped 18 riders during the 12 races of the MotoE season in 2022.
